Shared Education

We are committed to improving the lives of women living in disadvantaged areas supporting them develop their skills and talents through education and training thus enabling them play a more active role in society.  

We deliver accredited and non-accredited classes to empower and educate women in the North & West Belfast and beyond.​

Connect 4 Women

This project, in partnership with GLOW and WOMEN'STEC, targets women who wish to improve their chances of employment. The project contains several courses for participants, including ‘soft skills’ classes such as relevant advice workshops and crafting sessions.

Women Breaking Barriers NI

Women Breaking Barriers NI aims to engage women who are economically inactive with programmes, workshops, training, and opportunities to boost their self-confidence and employability skills.


The project aims to tackle the barriers that women face in gaining and retaining employement.


Shankill Women's Centre is delighted to take part in this project, which is led by the women's sector in Northern Ireland.

Good Relations Classes

The aim of this project is to help participants gain self-confidence and to gain a recognised qualification to increase their opportunity to enter the employment market.
