We are committed to improving the lives of women living in disadvantaged areas supporting them to develop their skills and talents through education and training. Thus enabling them to play a more active role in society.

Women Breaking Barriers NI

Women Breaking Barriers NI aims to engage women who are economically inactive with programmes, workshops, training, and opportunities to boost their self-confidence and employability skills.

 

The project aims to tackle the barriers that women face in gaining and retaining employement.

 

Shankill Women's Centre is delighted to take part in this project, which is led by the women's sector in Northern Ireland.

The aim of this project is to help participants gain self-confidence and to gain a recognised qualification to increase their opportunity to enter the employment market.
