Change Makers

Interested in Politics or Community Development? 

This unique course is designed to introduce politics and community development in a simple, accessible way helping women gain confidence, knowledge, training and the tools to make a difference in their communities.

 

Open to women living in North and West Belfast.

 

Course Details:

  • Duration: One year (runs annually)

  • Commitment: Two sessions per week (2 hours each)

  • Location: North and West Belfast area

 

What You’ll Learn:

  • The Basics of Governance

  • Democracy in the UK and Ireland

  • Topical “Change Seminars”

  • Site Visits to:

    • Belfast City Council

    • Northern Ireland Assembly

    • Dáil Éireann

    • Westminster
